Gila River Family of Churches
It Is Our Joy To Do Thy Will, Oh Lord!

History
The Gila River Family of Churches (GRFOC) is a 501(c)3 charity
organization founded in November, 2005.  We consist of a growing
number of churches/members within and surrounding the Gila
River Indian Community (
GRIC) who have come together in spite
of denominational and doctrinal differences to introduce Jesus
Christ to the lost and to combat substance abuse.  We are presently
operational at our Santan, AZ (District 4) office
but are in need of
warehouse space to store clothes and furniture (especially beds), for
our community.

Clients are placed in Christian faith-based residential treatment
centers such as
Teen Challenge, Victory Outreach, the Dream
Center, Phoenix Rescue Mission and The Salvation Army.  We also
place clients in other facilities such as "
Thwajik Ké” - Healing
Center, our community rehabilitation center, New Arizona Family,
Inc. (
NAFI), and various halfway houses. We are praying and
working toward acquiring funds to have our own residential
recovery facility soon.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to come together in agreement as a body of
believers in accordance with the Word of God and thereby
consolidate our efforts to:

(a) seek God more fervently;
(b) fortify our power in Christ; and
(c) proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the entire
community in an aggressive manner for the conversion of
souls.

Secondly, to present deliverance opportunities to all parties
involved in substance abuse by placing them in Christian
rehabilitation facilities in Maricopa and Pinal Counties as well
as networking with other programs throughout the country.

We also assist with emergency food, clothing and shelter
placement.  Please don’t hesitate to call us in your time of
need.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the
mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a
living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service.  And be not
conformed to this world: but be ye transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that ye may
prove what is that good, and acceptable, and
perfect, will of God. Rom. 12:1-2
