                          Attention – All Family Members of Substance Abusers!!!

    This is a personal special invitation to a life-changing experience.  If your family
    member's drug of choice is alcohol, marijuana, crack cocaine, crystal meth, inhalants,
    club drugs, heroin, prescription drugs or any other addictive substance, Jesus has
    moved us to help them regain control of their life.

    This battle with drug addiction is in full force and Gila River Family of Churches
    (GRFOC) has taken up arms.  We have given this notice - “Satan, you are a defeated
    enemy of God.”  “The blood of Jesus is against you.”  “We command you in Jesus’
    name to release our people.”  We have been given the authority in the name of Jesus to
    tread on serpents and scorpions.  The battle belongs to the Lord as we live holy,
    sanctified, consecrated and separated lives according to His word.  We will continue to
    fast and pray and break the power of the enemy until this curse is destroyed.

    Start praying for your addicted family member and rebuke the power of Satan working
    in their life.  Pray “out loud” daily for them.  If possible, lay your hands on them and
    pray for them as a family.  It is very important that you show them love in spite of how
    mean, rebellious or selfish they act.  Remember that they are not in control of
    themselves.  You cannot regain them by arguing or fighting them.  It just causes you to
    also become more frustrated and resentful.  Please read I Corinthians, Chapter 13 and
    then start saying to them “I love you!”  Don’t say it because I tell you, but only if indeed
    you mean it  A hug is good too!  If you are experienced in spiritual warfare, GET
    BUSY!  If not, we can teach you.

    We have a burden to see our brothers and sisters set free from the poison which Satan
    has been killing us with.  We ourselves have been set free by the blood of Jesus, the
    Savior of the world.  We refuse to stand idly by while you are suffering heartache and
    depression because your son or daughter, husband or wife, brother or sister is slowly
    dying or confined in a cell because of drugs.  We love our God and you enough to
    commit our lives to do what we know works.  We invite you to visit us and bring your
    needs to the Lord.

We Believe in the Power of  God

    The Gila River Community is located in Arizona, just south of Chandler, Ahwatukee and
    Phoenix.  Our community members consist of Akimel O'odham (Pima) and Pee-Posh
    (Maricopa) Indians.  God is moving mightily within our community in answer to the
    constant seeking of praying men and women.  While alcoholism and substance abuse is
    running rampant, we are bombarding heaven on behalf of youth, elders and everyone in
    between.  We are praying for the Nation.
